Secondary One Posting

Posting exercise will be carried out by Pupil Placement Section of Ministry of Education from late November through December.

Posting will be dependent on the student's PSLE results.

There Secondary One (S1) Option exercise for parents to submit the secondary schools preferred. The S1 option exercise can be done either via internet or physically at the child's primary school. The option allows parents and child to indicate up to six (6) secondary schools that they would like to opt for.

Before the submission:
1. Parents are advised to go through the booklet on "Choosing Your Secondary Schools"
2. There are several decisions to be made based on the following:
a. Previous year’s posting aggregate ranges of the schools
b. Academic performance of the child
c. Distance
d. Affiliated schools
e. Programmes and schemes offered
f. Special needs of the child

For online submission. Check out the information Secondary One Internet System. The online submission is successful when a Verification slip is generated with the confirmation number. Parents should print and keep a copy for their reference.

For physical submission at the primary school. Parents need to fill in the hard copy of the S1 options form. The staffs at the primary school will help to enter the options and when that is done, a Verification Slip will be issued. Parents should double check the options that is entered and notify the staff immediately if there is any error or discrepancies.

Information on PSLE Statement of Results

Apparently, there will be no issuing of duplicate PSLE cert by SEAB.

However, a statement of results can be requested at a fee of $10.00
Postage for local address is $2.00
Postage for overseas address is $5.00

Release of PSLE Result 2009

PSLE results will be out on 26/11/2009 (Thursday).
